Jos-plateau-stateThe Director of Press Affairs to Governor Simon Lalong, Mr Emmanuel Nanle has admonished the southern and central. Unity forum to remain impartial and to be good ambassadors of peace  as the 2019 elections is around the corner .

Speaking at the swearing in of the newly elected executive council members of the forum held at Hill station Hotel conference Hall ,Jos, he urged the central /southern unity forum to shun any form of intimidation and violence that might destroy their future especially as election were held peaceful across the state.

Nanle encouraged the group to imbibe the culture of humanitarian service ,as this would ameliorate the untold hardship that is confronting their zones  .

He expressed delight that they were there to  congratulate those who were elected include,Chairman Mrs Solome Chakkat Dashe,Vice Chairman Hon.Joseph Gotip,Secretary Haji Pangkugai Irimiya,Assistant Secretary Mrs Judith Fedelis, Treasurer Mrs Ladi A.Sunday, Financial secretary Elder James Baba Mamgin ,Auditor general Mr Dabish Caleb Josiah, Public relation officer Mr Yakubu Habila, Legal adviser Barr. Dawam Alloy lemu Tuna, ex-officio 1Evangelist Yakubu iliyasu A Zakari ex-officio Aring Sam Mark, pointing out that they had contributed to the progress and development of their zone.

He commended all the members of the forum who stood on the part of the truth and honour that bring endless process of searching for credible leaders to move the association forward.

Nanle charged the newly elected executive council members to sacrifice by offering selfless service toward ensuring that they reconcile and unite members of the forum while pursuing their socio-economic and political common good for the forum.

DOPA tasked politicians in the state to forget their differences and cooperate with one another in order to work collectively towards the development and progress of the state.

In her acceptance speech, the Chairman Mrs Salome Dashe commended the people  of southern and central  unity forum for their choice of peaceful conduct in  the recent  election.

She urged the political class to exercise restraint and be cautious of making further statements that may cause more dissatisfaction among them.

Dashe called on political class to stop dissipating the unfortunate incidence of attack but rather remain calm,focus  and determine to unmask and punish the perpetrators of violence.
