Plateau Government Tasks Civil Servants Brace Up New Challenges

Plateau state civil servants have been challenged to rise and embrace the current developmental trend and make sure that they deliver on the mandates of government.
Head of Service in the state, Mr Ezekiel Dalyop made this appeal at a function to mark the civil service day celebration in the state.
Dalyop said government on its part is face undaunted with some reforms that in the long run indirectly It cripples productivity and in some circumstances affect the personnel of its status of professionalism and neutrality.
According to him, “government have ushered a new era of service consciousness and professionalism for the work force where issue of staff evaluation, discipline, training work ethics and dedication to duty are being taken seriously”.

Stressing that the ongoing reorganization in the state is one of the policies that the state government designs to strengthens the system and improve the quality of the state workforce to perform duties with greater degree of proficiency.

Speaking on the topic,” Enhancing – Accountability, Productivity and Integrity in service, guest leacturer Professor. Rotgak Gofwen called civil servants to see the need to support government to enable it bring development.


He also stresses that government and civil servants must thrive to ensure objective openness in performing responsibilities as well as show leadership by example and look for ways not bending rules to avoid conflict of interest and also promote change and dev as instrument of change civil in servants as social engineer look at the dynamism.
