The Member Representing Wase State Constituency at the Plateau State House of Assembly and the Deputy Chief Whip ,Hon. Ibrahim Adamu Galadima has tasked the 2025 intending Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board ,(PSMWB) contingent to pray for the insecurity bedeviling the country and Plateau state .
Hon.Galadima disclosed this known on Thursday at the headquarters of the Plateau State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board in Jos .
He said as one of the member of the intending hajj for the 2025 ,our concern is to pray for the return of peace in Plateau state and the entire country .
Hon. Adamu Galadima urged Muslim ummah to pray for the restoration of peaceful coexistence amongst the diverse ethnic nationalities between Muslims and Christians .
‘You would recalled that rainstorm caused the destruction of houses ,public utility ,including washing away major roads in Wase State constituency in the early month of April .
‘The family compound of the Deputy chief Whip was not spear by the hurricanes wild rainstorm that ravaged the state constituent with roofs blunt off completely leaving debris of trace of disaster .
However, the displaced families are taken shelters in some of the abandoned public government properties in Wase state constituency but he applauded the SEMA /NEMA for their proactive measure and prompt response to the plight of the victims .
According to him, we have done our very best by approaching the National Emergency Management Agency to come and help the affected victims in Wase LGA .We want them to bring succour especially now that raining season is here .
Hon.Adamu emphasized that citizens should imbibe the spirit of forgiveness and tolerance as we continue to pray for our leaders .
