Plateau Chief Judge Urges Govt To Implement Agreement With JUSUN

The Chief Judge, Justice Pius Damulak has appealed to Governor Simon Lalong upset the Judiciary staff salary for easy dispensation of justice.

Speaking at the venue of this year legal year celebration in Plateau state,justice Damulak urged the Plateau government to ensure that all salaries and arrears of JUSUN members across the state are settle for quick service delivery.

He emphasized more on the issue of arrears and depreciation of courts building and implement the agreement reached with the union on the autonomy of judicial armed of government in the state.

According to him, for easy dispensation of justice in the state, a committee has been set up headed by the chief judge with the NBA chairman and comptroller of prison to minimize criminal delay system .
He assured government of their determination to improve on the revenue generation within the judiciary and sustained relationship with the state government.

Governor Simon Bako Lalong said the wheel of government is been driving by the judicial arms of government who interpret the temple of justice and preserve healthy working environment for democracy to function.

He stressed that government will not rest to see the completion of ongoing projects and building of shopping mall within High Court premises.

Lalong reminded the gathering that the state is still waiting for the bailout funds to assist in payment of workers salary .
