He disclosed this during workshop for the 12th joint ordination service for thirteen of her ministers into full gospel ministry and World conference.

The Church condemned the recent unprovoked attacks by persons suspected to be Fulani herdsmen militia on innocent communities in some parts of Barkin Ladi, Riyom, Bassa and Mangu local government areas of Plateau state which led to wanton destruction of properties and loss of lives of over 200 people including women ,pregnant mothers and children, he explained .

“We strongly state that there is no justification whatsoever that should warrant such inhuman atrocity against humanity, they acknowledge the prompt visitation of both the vice President Professor Yemi Osibanjo which was immediately followed by the President Muhammadu Buhari “, he added.

We also observed that the burning down of churches and pastorium by these same attackers was a deliberate act to exterminate Christians; we however, commend the restrain of the Christian faithful for not responding to these deliberate provocations as there is no record of any mosque that was destroyed or burnt in the face of this provocation.

We demand that government should as a matter of urgent important undertake the rebuilding of these worship places so to erase pigment of provocations in view of this sensitive nature.

The Baptist denomination alone has recorded 37 persons who were brutally killed, majority of who were women and children.

According to him, the church lost 27 persons in a single attack expressing the painful memory of what happened in Salama Baptist Church Ancha in Bassa LGA where their members were massacred in cold blood which is still fresh in their minds as these so-called unknown gun men are still allowed to perpetrate their murderous acts with impunity.
