An All Progressive Congress (APC), Chieftain, Rtd Col Kaswe S. Sunday has reeled out plans to help the All Progressive Congress APC to tackle internal party wrangling and to also urge the party to imbibe tolerance and to be committed to fighting poverty in the land.

He frowned that those defecting and cross carpeting politicians in Nigeria can be considered as aggrieved members especially now they want to check the political acceptability of those in the ruling party.

Col Kaswe Sunday in an interview with some journalists in Jos said all the defectors have their reasons for defecting.

He said, as an aspirant for Kanke constituency come 2019, seeking the people mandate to be in the Plateau state House of Assembly, he has impacted positively to the grassroots in the area of employment and empowerment programme.

Sunday stressed that he desire to contribute to the total emancipation of his people which he said he has not stopped at engaging the Youths and others to gain employment.

He pointed out that the crisis rocking the APC should address and they leadership should focus more on people-oriented programmes instead of embarking on defecting to another party.

Sunday reiterated that as a legislator it is out of political paradigm to begin to make promises such as the provision of electricity,  water, however this could be done through consistent lobbying from the executive organ which he assured doing that if given the mandate.

According to him, Nigeria leaders should emphasize on a programme that has a direct impact on the people and can add value to the well-being of the citizenry and government should identify the immediate needs of each community.

He cautioned that government should focus more on building confidence in the lives of the most vulnerable people in the society rather than embarking on white elephant projects which has nothing to add to the development of the society.
