The Plateau State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has commended the former Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Barr. Solomon Selcap Dalung, for what it described as his exemplary leadership, crediting him for a hitch-free and peaceful Local Government congress held across the 17 LGAs.
State Chairman, Hon. Sam Gyang, said the Former Minister’s “sterling leadership” ensured a rancour-free exercise, noting that he demonstrated tact and wisdom in managing diverse interests within the party.
The party expressed appreciation for Dalung’s sacrifices and commitment, while congratulating members of the newly elected to continue to promote the tenets of democracy.
ADC assures aspirants of a level playing field in Plateau ADC, urging the stakeholders not to split but to continue to enjoy the unity of oneness.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Sam Gyang on the phone, he said that the chapter would maintain confidence in Hon Solomon Selcap Dalung’s experience in party organisation and management as he is striving to expand the ADC’s influence across the 17 LGAs.
The party also commended national delegates for their dedication and wished them safe travels to Abuja ahead of the forthcoming national convention, expressing optimism that the event would rank among the most successful in the party’s history.
According to him, the exercise went on peacefully without any rancour except in a few areas, but that is politics, so we need to work together to harness the power of unity
