The Executive Secretary of the Bauchi State Christians Pilgrim Welfare Board Samuel Jatau Haruna said the Board would ensure that all intended Christian pilgrims are vaccinated before this year’s exercise
Mr. Haruna made the statement during an exclusive interview with the Universal Reporters at the Board, Head Office, Tuesday in Bauchi.
According to him, this year’s exercise has come up with new challenges because of the Covid-19 pandemic, which demands that every intended pilgrim must be vaccinated before being allowed to perform this year’s exercise.
“This made it compulsory for every intended Christians Pilgrim to be vaccinated so that he/she would be allowed to perform the exercise as in line with this year Covid-19 protocol”, he said.
He added that the Board is going to intensify training, sensitization, and awareness for our intended Pilgrims to ensure they have been vaccinated ahead of time.
He, however, appreciated the cordial working relationship and support being received since his inception as the Executive Secretary of the Board to date from the State Government.
