(Photos) DSS In Kano Parades 9 Suspected Armed Robbers, Cattle Rustlers And Kidnappers

The Kano State Department Of State Security has paraded 9 suspected Interstate kidnappers, cattle rustlers, car snatchers and arm robbers.

According to the Director of the command, they had recently based on credible intelligence report arrested four members of kidnapping and cattle rustling syndicate operating in kano and Kaduna state respectively.

Addressing Journalists in Kano, DSS said that Umar Ali Mainasara was arrested at Kurna Fagge LGA, Ali Mohammad arrested at kwangila flyover in Zaria Kaduna state, while Auwalu Mohammad was arrested at Ja`en kumbotso together with Habibu Haladu.

They confessed their involvement in car snatching in Kano and Kaduna state as well as robbery; they also mentioned their partners in crime who are one Ibrahim Suleiman known as Mallam Ibrahim and Emmanuel Ogbonna known popularly as Emeka.

According to the DSS Director he said that they have been on the trail of  Mallam Ibrahim and EMEKA which led the arrest of  the other suspects.

DSS also stated that Sulaiman Magaji a Nigerien is identified as a gun runner and also disposes stolen vehicles for the criminal, while one Kabiru Salisu an insider in the House of a popularly Islamic Scholar Sheikh Isyaku Rabiu who passed information that led to the robbery at Sheikh Isyaku Rabiu House. It also stated Kabiru was the person that lead the gang to the office of Abdussamad Isyaku Rabiu to steal the money meant for the zakat.

DSS also stated that Meanwhile Ali Muhammad is very notorious kidnapper and cattle rustler who committed more atrocities in Kaduna state was handed over to Kaduna state police command.

Four pistols-2 of which is a Makarov models used by Nigerien security Agents were recovered and they were supplied to Auwal and Mallam Ibrahim by Magaji.

One (1) pump action rifle was recovered from MAINASARA: and thirty seven (37) 9mm rounds of life ammunitions.

Also recovered were money, Diamond gold jewelries, expensive wrappers and vehicle.

The command also mentioned that all the suspects confessed to the crimes and they will soon be charged to court, and the command called on the general public to report any suspicious activities to their headquarters or nearest sister security agencies for quick action.
