PDP Southern Zone Caucus Endorses Mutfwang, Bali For 2027

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Southern Zone Caucus has endorsed and adopted Governor  Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang’s reelection bid and AVM Napoleon D. Bali for the Southern Senatorial District as their preferred candidates for the 2027 general elections.

In a motion moved by Hon. Godfrey Lamdip on behalf of the Southern Zone PDP zonal stakeholders meeting held at Shendam zonal headquarters on Saturday by the caucus endorsed Mutfwang and Napoleon Bali .

The zonal Chairman, Hon.Simon Domle said the meeting marked historical turning points in our political journey to join hands together for the progress of our party.

He ,however, says the v defining moment in the history of our great party in the Southern Zone after careful deliberation, consultation, and a shared vision for the future, we have collectively resolved to endorse His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, and Distinguished Senator AVM Napoleon D. Bali as our preferred candidates for the 2027 elections.

According to him , this decision is not made lightly. It reflects the confidence we have in their proven leadership, their commitment to service, and their ability to unite and uplift our people.

He stated that , their track records speak for them, marked by integrity, dedication, and a passion for the progress of our dear state and the nation.

The Zonal Chairman, Hon. Simon V. Domle commended Hon. Godfrey Lamdip for moving the motion on behalf of our members and Hon. Zainab Dogo for seconding it.

He commended Governor Mutfwang developmental strides by canvassing support for his reelection bid to continue the good work .

Simon urged the PDP zonal stakeholders to remain resolute and committed to the PDP founding fathers towards people oriented programs .

Your actions today reflect the unity, maturity, and democratic spirit of our caucus.

To our members, I say: this is the time to close ranks, work hand-in-hand, and ensure that our decision today translates into victory in 2027. Let us go back to our wards and communities, carrying this message of hope, unity, and progress.

Together, we will deliver. Together, we will win. And together, we will write the next glorious chapter of the PDP’s story in the Southern Zone and beyond.

The Langtang  South PDP stakeholders endorsed the decision of   Hon. Zainab Dogo. The Zonal Chairman presided over the proceedings and confirmed the acceptance of the endorsement by the Southern Zone members.
