In furtherance to the efforts to ensure comprehensive reconciliation among members and interests in the party, the National Working Committee of the PDP has set up a National Reconciliation Committee to harmonize all interests and achieve genuine reconciliation across board.

The committee shall be inaugurated by the National Chairman of the PDP, Alhaji Dr. Bamanga Tukur, CON at the National Secretariat on Thursday, 25th August, 2013 by 12 noon.
Meanwhile in swift reaction to this latest development , speaking with universalreporters on phone, Dr. Umar Ardo a stakeholder of the party said the committee will not make any head way, describing Governor Dickson himself is an instrument of crisis, and with the way the party is going it may not achieve its desired purpose.
However, Dr. Ardo said this shows how unserious the PDP national leadership is in reconciling its members who are aggrieved, how unserious the party is to hold onto to power in 2015.
