PDP Accuses The Police Of Aiding The APC In Jigawa State Election

Usman Adamu Abubakar

The main opposition party, PDP, in Jigawa State has identified the State’s Police Command as an ally and arm of the ruling All Progressives Party, following their alleged partisan politics in favour of the APC in the just concluded Presidential polls.

In a press statement signed and released to newsmen in Dutse by the PDP state Chairman – Salisu Mamuda Kuit, the PDP condemned  the Police’s activity of aiding the ruling party during the recent Presidential and National Assembly elections.

Mamuda challenged the Nigerian police for allowing the Jigawa Police Commissioner, who had been transferred, to superintend over the elections in the state.

Mamuda further noted that there would be no justification, whatsoever, for the forthcoming come gubernatorial election should the transfer of the state’s Police Commissioner lingers  further.
