The Presidential candidate of Providence Peoples’ Congress,  (PPC) Mr. Victor  Okhai  has called on the electorates  to vote him as the most  credible alternative to President Mohammadu Buhari and Atiku Abubakar of PDP in the 2019  general elections .

Okhai stated this in an interview with newsmen in Jos where he disclosed that considering his background as some one that has strong linkage with people of Middle -belt, South-South and the people of the core North, he knows the challenges of these people that cut across the six geo-political zones and what it takes to address them for the sake of peace of this country if voted into power in 2019.

According to Okhai who hails from Edo state argued that , ”  people like President Buhari and Atiku Abubakar, have lived all their lives on government patronages  and in all their lives they don’t  have experience with what poverty is all about  and such don’t know what ordinary Nigerians are going through  on daily basis”

Okhai said having lived in Jos, made him to know the challenges that the minorities of Middle belt region are facing and likewise the people of Niger Delta because he is from Delta state and also knows much about the plight of the Igbos because his mother hails from Ibo land just as he said he holds a chieftaincy tittle from Kano..

According to him, he is better prepared for the job than any other Presidential candidate from any party of the country, saying his background made him to understand the plight of the youths of this country better than  any other presidential candidate under the current dispensation .

He added that  the country is ripe for restructuring  and has made it top priority  to implement if given the opportunity by the voters to have him as the next president of Nigeria, stressing  that  some  of the Presidential candidates are not serious  on restructuring but rendering lip service on the critical matter on ground.

He argued that what is responsible for agitations across the country under the current dispensation is injustice, promising that if given the mandate, he knows how to go about addressing them one after the other.
