Party, Religion, Tribalism Should Not Be A Dividing Factor-YAN National Speaker Tell Members

The National Speaker of Youth Assembly of Nigeria has appealed to its members to be united at all times and not to allow party inclination, religion, and tribalism to tear the people apart.

 

Comrade Shuaibu Sani in a vote of thanks during the maiden edition of Engineer Abdullahi Sule’s debate competition urged members to be firm in spite of the tough times YAN passed through in the past.

 

The National Speaker said the Youth Assembly of Nigeria in the past twenty years lost its bearing due to the absence of political will to support YAN in Nasarawa State.

 

The National Speaker, Shuaibu Sani commended the State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule for his total support to the Youth Assembly of Nigeria.

 

He further congratulates the participating schools, promising that YAN would expand the schools’ debate competition for more schools.

 

From the four participating schools, Government Girls Science School Garaku emerged first with 252 marks while Government Science School, Lafia with 217 marks.

 

Another participating School is Government Science School, Nasarawa Eggon emerged with 176 marks as the third school while Government Girls College, Wamba emerged the fourth position.

 

The first position went home with N40,000, second place to N30,000, Third place with N20,000, and Fourth place with N10,000 respectively.
