Pandemonium Rocks Plateau PDP, As Police, Other Security Details Seal Party Secretariat, Sheriff Camp Moves To Take Over Party Secretariat (See Photos)

There was tension today at Plateau PDP secretariat in Jos, following sealing of the Secretariat by the Police in order to forestall peace and order, this is as a result of action of some youths who were besieged the party’s secretariat to disrupt the meeting of the Hon Gyang Badung who are of the Sheriff’s faction.
Speaking to Journalists at the Solomon Daushep Lar amusement park on Friday ,Badung said, ” we here this to address you party loyalists on the recent development, we officially wrote to the security on the meeting taking place today at the Secretariat but the other aggrieved group mobilized army of youths who were armed with dangerous weapons to disrupt the meeting.
He explained that, he officially wrote specifically to host its members across the 17 local government areas.
It was gathered that the State party headquarters was under sieged for several hours where the men of the Nigerian Police, Nigerian Security and Civil Defense, DSS and others security agencies were all drafted to prevent breakdown of law and order.
Badung disclosed that they were at their party Secretariat to conduct a peaceful stakeholders meeting only to be distracted by some miscreants sponsored by the Senator Ahmed Makarfi factional loyalist.
He further described the former minister of Sports as a political distraction to the progress of the state right from the beginning of PDP days of former Governor Joshua Dariye when the state had witnessed series of crisis.
According to him, Hon Damishi Sango masterminded the political crises which in his characteristics only come to office to gain personal desires and when he fails, he will abandon the party to another party, so for us in PDP, Sango is a political prostitute jumping from one party to another.
Well; “I am standing as the state chapter chairman sworn-in by Sen. Sheriff and Sango only came to cause disaffection to blackmail Sheriff while in Abuja but in Jos he embrace him claiming to support him.
“We are not ready to take violence, so we assure our supporters that very soon we shall resume at the state chapter of the party’s secretariat.
He raised concern that the well celebrated incident of the state Congress that produced Sango was dissolve by the National Chairman for the irregularities and over voting, “so we are calling on the Plateau people PDP to advice Sango to stop parading himself as the state chairman.
Meanwhile, The Senator Ahmed Makarfi factional leader ,Hon Damishi Sango in his speech to his supporters when he was allow inside the party Secretariat told journalists that this morning, “ I was taken by surprise that our party Secretariat was sealed by security because of misinformation by some group .
He applauded the security for resilient and commitment to safeguard the live and properties of the citizens, “we understand that some people came to invade our office of which the security were drafted to the scene.
Sango commended the security, saying, we were democratically elected for tenure of 4 years through Democratic process, I ask those aggrieved members who are claiming ownership to serve us notice of their Impeachment in proper way.
“I don’t want to believe that Sheriff is responsible, but a few mischief makers are the one causing this, PDP is a dependable party, Lalong is sponsoring crisis to scare us away from conducting Local Government election,” he added.
