Pandemonium In Bauchi As Thugs Set Ablaze APC Governorship Office In Bauchi By Masoyi Lusa, Bauchi

There was pandemonium in Kobi Street, Bauchi metropolis when suspected hoodlums burnt down campaign office of APC governorship candidate Barrister Abdullahi Mohammed

The fire incident as learnt occurred  today thereby causing tension in Angwan Jaki

Eye witness said, the arsonist come in convoy of two vehicles and set the campaign office ablaze and flees to thin air

The source said the incident may not be unconnected with the stoning of President Jonathan by irate Youths in continuation of PDP rally ahead of February election

Speaking to Adamu Kala he said he alongside his friends is lucky enough to have escape from the wrath of the arsonist saying the office has recently been use as their accommodation.

When this correspondent visited the scene it was discovered that APC supporters and sympathizers were on ground to have a glance of the fire incident

Efforts to speak to the APC gubernatorial candidate Barrister Abdullahi Mohammed failed as he was said to have travel out of the state for other engagements.

Speaking police spokesman DSP Mohammed Haruna said the command has not yet receive in detail the fire incident as at the time of filling in this report,  but  promise to get back later.
