Pandemonium broke out today at Katarko Market Area of Jos North Local Government, venue of the ongoing voters registration exercise of INEC.
As gathered there was a minor disagreement Friday Morning at Katarko Market, in Jos North Local government of Plateau state which resulted to  pandemonium and tension.
The disagreement which was between some Christians and Muslim youths was due to the clamour to obtain Permanent Voters’ card, PVC.
No life is reported lost, but several persons sustained bruises occurred from physical attack, stones and sticks used for self defense by both parties.
An eye witness told journalists  that the situation which started between a Berom and an Hausa youth almost turned to a full brown crisis if not for the security operatives, led by Military personnel who intervened swiftly and arrested the culprits.
It was gathered that the trouble was blamed on the poor planning of INEC over the ongoing Voters, Card registration for eligible voters ahead of the 2015 election.
Sources said since the commencement of the registration Wednesday, INEC staff were not sent to corner Shagari and Apatta polling units, where the people became worried and went to the Neighborhood centre SDA primary school centre.
On reaching there,  according to information, a thug used his elbow to chance a Muslim youth, and in retaliation the Muslim youth pushed him back and the situation resulting in a free for all fight.

The situation  however was brought under control as security men are said to have taken full control of the centre.
