Osun Govt Not Sponsoring Protests At UBA Branches, Stop Speeding False Panic, Propaganda PDP Tells APC

The Osun State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has dismissed as reckless falsehood, the allegation by Osun APC that the state government is sponsoring protests at branches of the United Bank for Africa (UBA).

The party notes that the APC is scared of its own evil haunting it, and that the allegation of “fake pensioners” is not only baseless but an insult to senior citizens who served this state diligently.

“Osun APC is scared of its own evil haunting it; a party burdened by it’s bad record now trembles at shadows of its own making.”

“There is no plan, no sponsorship, and no authorization by the Adeleke-led administration for any protest at any banking institution. And it’s pertinent to declare that branding Pensioners as ‘fake’ is an insult to elderly citizens who served this state with dignity.

“A party that forcefully occupied local government councils with illegal officials, mismanaged allocations, and destabilised grassroots administration now seeks to divert attention through fabricated narratives. Those who thrived on impunity cannot suddenly posture as defenders of law, and order.

“Why is APC speaking for UBA? Is this not a substantive evidence of partners in crime hustling to cover their tracks?

“UBA is a corporate institution with it’s management structure, and communication channels. It does not require a political party as it’s megaphone. When the opposition assumes that role, the public is entitled to ask salient questions.

“The APC’s statement is a pre-emptive attempt to create tension, drag security agencies into partisan propaganda, and assign blame in advance for imaginary breakdown of law and order. That script will fail.

“Under Governor Adeleke, Osun State Government has maintained peace and stability despite sustained provocation. Workers and pensioners are being paid, and governance continues without intimidation or chaos.

“The people of Osun can no longer be fooled with panic alerts. They know who withheld their entitlements, who destabilised the councils, and who is now shedding crocodile’s tears to escape public scrutiny. No amount of alarmist propaganda can rewrite that history or distract us from delivering good governance in the state,” the party concluded.
