One Year Of Massacre In Bokkos: Dr Akinyemi Condemns Massacre, Says We Need To Establish The Fear of God

The President Voice of His Word Ministries Lagos, Dr Bolaji .O. Akinyemi has condemned the massacre of innocent people in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State in 2023 but insisted that the act was due to lack of unity and oneness in the country’s leadership.

He disclosed that Nigerian leaders failed woefully to tackle the problem of insecurity bedeviling the country as the Bokkos children orphans marked one year of the massacre of their parents in 11 villages on the Eve of Christmas in Bokkos Local Government Area (LGA) of Plateau State.

Dr Akinyemi stated this during the Funfair dinner he organized to mark one year of the massacre that happened in villages in Bokkos LGA.

He said, we need to put the system in place to bring up our children with the fear of God, the children the Bible said are the heritage of the Lord. Of course, the Bible is talking about Jesus Christ himself because a child is born, a son is given between the parenthood of childhood and sonship is a culture.

According to him, culture takes over when a child is born to build that child into a son, however, the culture of the Jewish people built up Jesus Christ into a man, the Bible says as the culture works he went into the temple and open what is our responsibility as government also as community and family to bring up every child in the fear of God.

He pointed out that our responsibility is to turn the gift of heaven to our children into sonship because God can’t do that for us so we need to train them and we need to put the system in place but what we have today is a failure of the system.

Dr Akinyemi emphasized that the problem Nigeria is undergoing now is the problem is the kind of leadership in the country where Boko Haram insurgents are striving due to the family and government failure were things are getting worse.

We have the responsibility to train our children towards improving the well-being of our society but these leaders continued to create acrimony amongst the diverse tribes and religious nepotism in the country.

He condemned the massacre of people in Nigeria and urged the government to secure the country from bandits who are parading themselves as religious leaders.

The one-year Xmas celebration with the 950 internally displaced children was accomplished by God’s faithfulness and blessings.

Speaking on the vulnerable children, Dr Akinyemi said they have professionals to help those children with trauma and counseling to help them through Rhoda Sanda who is already on the ground.

He promised to continue with the sustainability of the children’s learning program and feeding because nobody knows whether among these boys we have the President, Governor, or Senator.

Dr. Akinyemi assured that the ministries would be prepared to ensure that the welfare of these vulnerable children is well protected.
