Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Alhaji.Sule has flagged off the construction of 1,400 capacity Keffi Square and 500 lockup shops at neighborhood market awarded at the cost of over N1.6billion.
Engr.Sule during the flagging off of the projects maintained that the projects would boost the socio-economic activities of the State.
The Governor disclosed that the projects were initiated in order to improve on the revenue base of the State.
Engr.Sule said that the neighborhood market would have over 500 locks up shop while the Keffi square would over 1,400 capacity seats.
‘” This not just in fulfillment of my campaign covenant but this is a dream come true.
The Keffi Square and neighborhood market is to enhance the socio-economic activities of the people of the State”.
Sule tasked the contractor handling the job, Canonic Associates to adhere strictly to specification of the projects by ensuring that quality jobs are done.
He also urged the contractor to complete the job at the appropriate time.
“The projects are expected to be competed at this end of this year and I urge the contractor to speed up so as to meet up to the time frame”.
He solicited for the prayers and support of the people of the state to enable him succeeds.
