No less than one person has been reported killed on Saturday along Bauchi Road, a suburb of the state capital after a clash between two criminal gangs.
An eye witness during the incident disclosed that the clash occurred as a result of a previous misunderstanding between the members of the two gang who were said to be from Yan-Tiper and Anguwan rogo in Jos north.
Our correspondent reports that the victim was stabbed in the neck and was rushed to a hospital where he died.
It was also reported that Security agents has been drafted to the scene to prevent further breakdown of law and order.
The Plateau state police command confirmed the report stressing that security have been deployed to the area to prevent further skirmishes in the area.
