Oldest Person In Plateau Dies At 125

The oldest person in Plateau has died at the age of 125 in Chip District of Pankshin Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The family confirmed that, the woman named Kaka Sarah Nihikum Davereng died on the 2/2/20172 at the age of 125 in her sleep leaving behind great grandchildren.

She is survived  by 5 children,  50 grandchildren,  45  great grandchildren and many relatives among whom is James Davereng  a retired Assistant  Director with Plateau Television cooperation (PTVC ) .

Mr James disclosed that the family is in the mood of celebration at Mundung Chip.

He expressed confidence that mama left a good legacy, which the family has imbibed the spirit of honesty, and transparent life here on earth.

We thank God that mama clocked the age of 125 and we grateful to the grace He gave us to witness her burial and celebration.

According to James Davereng, the late Sarah received Christ before her demise and after that she was baptized, she added that mama had cordial relationship with the people of her community.

According to her last son, he said mama despise laziness and always encourage them to be honest and transparent in their activities.

Mama preached that all children and grand and great children should emulate good gesture by respecting their parents as well as for them to have proper education.
