The Governor of Imo State and the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Mr Rochas Okorocha, and the Okezie Ikeazu the Gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Abia state, has been declared the winner of the Imo State Governorship election and Abia State Governorship election respectively.
Governor Okorocha who polled 416,996 to defeat his opponent Ihedioha Emeka of the PDP was declared the winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after the supplementary election of Saturday.
While in Abia, Ikpeazu polled 264,713 to defeat the candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, Alex Otti, who polled 180,882 votes.
