The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State, Edward Awolowo Ajogun, on Wednesday, in company with executive members of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), visited the Kemta residence of W/Cpl Bolaji Senjirin who was recently delivered of a set of triplets.
The CP, who expressed his gratitude to God Almighty for the safe delivery of the babies, assured the family of his continued support towards the upkeep of the babies.
The mother of triplets is an orderly to the CP’s wife.
A statement by the command’s public relations officer, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, quotes the CP as making an undisclosed cash donation to the babies.
The chairman PCRC in the state, Samson Kunle Popoola, also announced a cash donation of N25,000 on behalf of the PCRC, while the women wing of the PCRC also pledged to support the family.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the command also donated N10,000 to the family.
Other officers in the company of the CP were the Divisional Police Officer, Kemta division, CSP Grace Ejiofor; and the personal assistant to the CP, DSP Ade Akiti.
