Oba Adebisi Remains Traditional Ruler Of Okeolooru Obalufon -Palace Spokesman

*Warns bloggers to halt publications

The Palace of the Olokeolooru Obalufon in Boluwaduro Local Government area of Osun State has affirmed that Oba Mukaila Micheal Adebisi remains the traditional ruler of the town.

The Palace spokesman, Chief Caleb Ayodeji in a press statement on Friday debunked a publication on social media insinuating that the state Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke removed Oba Adebisi as Olokeolooru Obalufon.

Chief Caleb Ayodeji described the publication as pure misinformation, misleading and mischievous and very unfortunate. He warned bloggers to desist from further publications on the matter

The Palace spokesman lauded Governor Ademola Adeleke for exhibiting respect for rule of law in the face of a purported plot by some government officials and certain individuals to demote Oba Adebisi.

According to him, “On the 22nd of January the Federal High Court, sitting in Osogbo ordered parties to maintain status quo. That everyone should stop using social media on this matter. So, we are warning all blogger to stop any form of publication on this matter or face the consequences.”

He appealed to the good people of Okeolooru Obalufon and the entire people of Osun State and Nigeria as a whole to disregard the publication in its entirety.

Chief Caleb Ayodeji said Oba Adebisi remains committed to serve his people and ensure growth and development of his town.

He warned detractors to allow the traditional to focus on his agenda to take Okeolooru to higher heights, saying no amount of distraction would derail Oba Adebisi
