NUJ Vice President Zone D, Correspondents’ Chapel Pass Vote of Confidence On Ex-Commissioner For Youth And Sports

The immediate past Commissioner of Youth and Sports Development, Honorable Othman Bala has applauded members of the Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Nasarawa State Chapter for the support shower on him while in office.
The outgoing cabinet member disclosed this when he paid a thank you visit a few days after the dissolution of Commissioners, Senior Special Assistants, and Special Advisers.
Describing the press as a veritable tool for the advancement of society, He in addition averred that he enjoys the support rally around him by Journalists especially members of the Correspondents’ Chapel of the NUJ.
The Vice President Zone D, of the Nigeria Union of Journalists in his speech pass a vote of confidence in the former Commissioner of Youth and Sports Development, Honorable Othman Bala for exhibiting maturity and know-how while he served the State for two years.
Chief Wilson Bako JP says if the Chapel would be given the task of choosing a Commissioner for the Governor Abdullahi Sule Othman Bala would be amongst the robust and committed cabinet members.
He said the immediate past Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development has written his name in the sands of history as a former cabinet member that comes to the Correspondents’ Chapel thanking them for their unflinching support after his exit from office.
The Vice President Zone D, also commended the State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule for searching thoroughly for committed persons whom he said the likes of Othman Bala and the immediate past Commissioner of Information, Culture, And Tourism, Comrade Dogo Shammah also deserved a second coming.
The erstwhile Scribe of the NUJ, Comrade Abdullahi Shuaibu (Walin Daddere) in his submission described Honorable Othman Bala as an easy-going cabinet member who has done the needful when he held sway as a Commissioner under the current administration of Engineer Abdullahi Sule.
He, however, explained that the innovation brought to the Ministry by Othman Bala is on the ground for generations yet unborn to see and tap from his experience.
Another speaker that showered encomium on the immediate past Commissioner is the Chairman of the Chapel, Isaac Okpoju who appreciates him for his immense contribution to ensure that the welfare of Journalists during the “Meet the people Tour” is not thwarted.
