Nuhu Ribadu Promised To Rebuilds Churches Destroyed By Islamic Insurgents If Voted Into Power By Tom Garba,Yola

The Peoples Democratic Party ,PDP, flag bearer in Adamawa state Nuhu Ribadu has promised to rebuild all Churches destroyed by Boko Haram Islamic insurgents if elected Governor of the state.
He revealed this while having a meeting with the Michika community District Heads, Pastors, Islamic women and youths leaders in the area, the meeting which took place at the Dantsoho Hotel in Jimeta, Yola North Local Government Area was attended by all the traditional Rulers of the Higgi and Bazza people of Michika Local Government under the auspices of Alh. Abubakar Kari Abdulahi, an indigene of Michika and erstwhile senatorial aspirant under the platform of the PDP.
Ribadu extol the ingenuity qualities of Michika people for being business enterprise in nature, characters he appreciates in them for their industrious nature of marketing commodities all over Nigeria. He promised that all Churches burnt down in Michika, Bazza , Kamela Suhur and other places will be rebuild if he becomes the Governor of Adamawa state.
He also assured them that very soon they will be returning to their home if he was elected in office because his priority will be to resettle all those affected by the rampaging insurgency from Madagali, Michika, Mubi North, Mubi South, Maiha, Hong and Gombi which were over ran by Boko Haram.
Nuhu commended the men of the Nigerian Army and other security operatives including Hunters for driving out the Boko Haram from the land of Adamawa state, urged the clergymen in Michika to ensure they mobilised their people to vote for him during the general elections, as the intends of his heart is to deliver Adamawa from the scratches of development backwardness and retrogression
‘’All the security forces have worked hard to liberate the land of Adamawa state almost 80percent free of Boko Haram, now our people are beginning to go back to their homes, I thank the president who is behind this drive to flush out Boko Haram because the damage is colossal, more than ten bridges have been burnt including markets but if I win I will stand behind these people because now hopes are been restored, I commend the Governor and the daring efforts of our security forces.’’

Mall Ribadu also praised the Vigilante Hunters for confronting the Boko Haram, ‘’Our Vigilante Hunters have done us extremely proud and we happy for their intervention during the critical period when our lives were in danger’’
The convener of the meeting, Alh. Abubakar Kari Abdullahi called on the people of Michika to put behind them the acts of terrorism that destroyed their community and remain united and vote for the candidate of Mall Nuhu Ribadu on March 28th.
A retired deputy Comptroller General of Immigration, who is the District head of Bazza, Alh. Bashir Hamidu, spoke on behalf of sixteen other District Heads during the meeting while the Christian Association of Nigeria CAN Michika branch and the Muslim Council offered prayers and promised to mobilise their people to support Nuhu Ribadu.

Other prominent personalities that attended the meeting include Mall Yusuf Dan Umma and the Chairman of Michika Local Government Area Mr. Vandi Favanza.
