NSUBEB Commences 3rd Term  Schools Resumption, Supervision

The Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board in collaboration with the Universal Basic Education Commission has concluded arrangements for its statewide continuous quality assurance third term 2022/2023 school resumption monitoring and supervision exercise.

This was contained in a press statement signed by the Deputy Director, Quality Assurance, Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board, Mr. Yakubu Addra, on behalf of the Director, Quality Assurance, Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board, Hajia Khadijat Sulaiman and made available to newsmen.

The statement revealed that monitoring teams were assigned to the various Local Government Education Authorities for the exercise.

Stating further that more emphasis will be laid on both the rural and urban areas during the school monitoring.

Hajia Khadijat Sulaiman, explained that it was a deliberate policy of the board to place a high premium on both rural and urban areas, for effective and efficient results. 

He Urged UBEC, SUBEB, and LGEA monitoring teams to be creative in their work.

The continuous Quality Assurance school resumption monitoring and supervision exercise was developed by the Universal Basic Education Commission Abuja and also in line with the State Government’s resolve to ensure quality teaching and learning under a conducive atmosphere by check-mating teachers and Pupils’ activities during resumes.

The exercise which commences  May 2, 2023, will last up to July 28, 2023.
