NSSG To Purchase N335 Million  Drugs,  Medical Equipment For General Hospitals

Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule has earmarked the sum of N360,000,000m for the purchase of health and medical equipment for all existing.

The Commissioner of Finance, Budget, and Planning, Honorable Munirat Abdullahi gave the hint during the breakdown of the 2024 budget at the Ministry of Finance, Budget, and Planning.

The State Commissioner of Finance, Budget, and Planning, Hon.Munirat Abdullahi gave the hint during the 2025 budget breakdown.

She reiterated that the present administration under the headship of Engineers Abdullahi Sule was built on the threshold of Accountability and Transparency in the management of public resources.

She added the ministry will work closely by monitoring and tracking the implementation of all the projects, programmes, and policies enunciated in the FY2024 budget.

The Commissioner tasked all accounting officers of the Ministries, Departments, and Agencies in the State to be guided by the appropriation law as well as ensure that all revenues due to the State Government are properly collected and accounted for so that our set targets can be achieved.

The Commissioner solicits  maximum support towards the successful implementation of the 2024 budget of “Renewed Commitment”

Going by the percentage of the budget Infrastructure got 15.5bn which is 10.47 percent, the education sector got the highest vote of N39.2bn, which is 26.28 percent.

Governance Security, General Administration, and legislation got N25.2bn , which translates to N2.7 bn, which was 1.81 percent, Law and Justice N4.3bn , which translates to 2.85 percent
