NSCDC Officials Nab Cable Vandals At Dutse International Airport By Umar Faruq Usman Dutse

The Jigawa State Civil Defense Command NSCDC has arrested two suspects a 24 year old Ismail Danlami of Yalawa Quaters and one Abubakar Ahmed, a 25 year old man of Shuwarin Town of Kiyawa Local Government and Dutse local government respectively for stealing 8 metres armoured cable meant to be used in Dutse international airport.
The suspects were arrested following the checkmating of security at the airport and efforts by the command to save guard lives and properties.
The Commandant Alhaji Mahammed Gidado Fari said the cable according the site Engineer working in the Airport Samiu Ajibola estimated the cost of the armoured cable is over N400,000 Naira.
Explaining further that he said that the suspect were arrested by the official of the Civil Defense who were stationed at the airport by the Commandant, he added further that as the suspect were trying to escape with armoured cable out of the airport premises, they were arrested.

Fari further stated that the two principal actors are now in their custody revealing their secrets as their interrogations are still going on and that they would soon be taken to court for judgement to serve as a lesson to others who has similar habit of stealing .
