North-East PDP Stakeholders Meet To Resolve Party Crisis, Says APC In Anarchy

Worried by the lingering crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) attributed to leadership tusle between senator Ali Modu Sheriff and senator Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi factions, concerned Stakeholders of the party in the North-east geo-political zone under the distinguish leadership of former Adamawa state governor Mr Bony Haruna has met in Bauchi to Proffer perpetual solution to the lingering crisis rocking the PDP at the national level.

This is just as the former police affairs and Yobe state two terms gubernatorial candidate of the PDP Dr Adamu Maina Waziri has described the APC ruling party as anarchy for creating permanent suffering to Nigerians.

The chairman had stressed that PDP is in total mess and the concerned stakeholders vowed not to fold all its hands while the great party goes to drift.

The former governor regretted that superiority complex constitute a major challenges of the PDP saying the prospect of the meeting is to take the party out of the crisis especially in the North-east who happened to produce the National Chairmanship.

Waziri cautioned President Buhari not to collect the $30bn loan saying it will affect generations yet born.

Other speakers during the meeting channeled the PDP woes with the adoption of Senator Sheriff as the party’s national chairman and disassociate the North -east region from the Sheriff.

Those in attendance were former Taraba deputy governor, Umar Garba, Senator Grace Ben, senator Abdull Ningi, Professor Ahmed Rufai, AbdllMalik Mahmoud former Bauchi deputy governor.

Others are Amini Gagash, Barrister Ibrahim Jalo, Arc Bunu Sherif, Hajia Zainab Maina former women affairs Minister among others.
