Nigeria @ 61: NURTW Chairman, Udeh Charge Youths On Good Behavior

As Nigeria marks her 61 years independence anniversary on Oct.1st, 2021, the Imo State Chapter Chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, Hon.Comr.Ukwenga Samuel Chijioke Udeh (Ezeumuokorobia) , has charged Imo and Nigeria youths at large to always uphold good behavior, moral excellence, as well as exhibit pragmatism while being resourceful in order to be affluent and comfortable in their life endeavors.

 

The Chairman of Imo NURTW gave the above charge in a Press Release signed by his Media Aide, Comr. Dan Opara Danjay, which was made available to journalists in Owerri on Friday, Oct.1st 2021, shortly after a meeting involving the leadership of the union.

 

Ezeumuokorobia maintained that when the youth who are agents of positive change behave well, fear, trust God, pray continuously, respect, support those in authority, contribute to nation-building and work exceedingly they will always make good progress with peace and orderliness reigning supreme in the state.

 

“In the spirit of our 61st Independence Anniversary as Nigerians, I am calling on Imo youths in particular to shun any form of social vices, imbibe in the spirit of reorientation and reconciliation, support the Shared Prosperity Government of Governor Hope Uzodinma, and obey laws and ideologies of the present government because Imo belongs to all of us, be good ambassadors of chivalry as you maintain peace at your homes, kindreds, community, and society at large”, Udeh stressed.

 

The statement added, ” The Imo State Chapter of NURTW-Nigeria happily joins other citizens to celebrate Nigeria’s 61 years of statehood, the umbrella body of all youth organizations especially the members of the union in the state. I have also enjoined the youths who are agents of positive change in the society to continue to exhibit patriotism and efficiency as they support authorities to build the nation to promote social economic growth and advancement of the country for the good, peace and comfort of all citizens”.

 

The NURTW Chairman and a proponent of good governance who has been contributing to the stability of actual democracy, rule of law, youth rejuvenation, growth, and progress of the society, stated that “despite challenges, Nigeria has made some positive marks.

 

NURTW thus believes that Nigeria, with patriotic leaders and supportive citizens, will rise again to experience peace, prosperity, security, and development. Let us continue to love one another with tolerance and forgiveness in our hearts”.

 

Ezeumuokorobia who felicitated with Imo State Government led by Governor Hope Uzodimma, his team, and other citizens of the state, the Imo NURTW number one urged the youths to keep hope alive as all will be well again.

 

He, therefore, implored the government to create jobs and other empowerment opportunities for the teeming unemployed youths of Imo state to engage them productively, even as he disclosed that many Imo youths would definitely be engaged positively under his watch as the Imo NURTW Boss.
