NGO Raises Hope For Jos IDPs

A Non-Governmental Organization, NGO, Hope Alive Ladies Ministries International, HALMI, Abuja has raised hope for the hundreds of thousands of the displaced widows and children in the 3 affected LGAs of Plateau state.

Founder of HALMI Mrs. Talakia Kure who dished out clothes and food items to the internal displaced person, IDPs at the Jos Campus of the Plateau State Polytechnic Jos on Saturday urged them not to give up as God was able and will raise helping hands to their rescue in terms of shelter.

Mrs. Kure who also prayed for God intervention, urged other NGOs and wealthy individuals to visit Plateau IDP camps to assist the neediest.

Hundreds of widows and children who lost their bread winners at the wake of the recent crisis turned out to get relief assistance.

HALMI is an Abuja based NGO whose interest is assisting and empowering widows and children.

HALMI has sunk boreholes to Abuja rural communities, providing capacity its skills acquisition schemes.
