New Nigeria Newspaper, Gaskiya Tafi Kobo To Resume Production Soon

The famous New Nigeria Newspapers and Gaskiya Tafi Kobo soon to rebound back on the news stand. The Plateau State office has given kudos to the Management of the pioneer Media outfit for its resurface on the Street after a protracted closure.

Speaking on the development at the wake of the reopening, a cross section of the readers said “they are now left with the option of balancing between the Northern and Southern media“.

According to the readers, the closure of the Company has not only affected the staffers “but the generality of readers who depended on it for update and accurate information“.

Alhaji Sadiq Massallah who expressed delight over reopening of the nation’s leading Newspapers charged the management to ensure its continuous survival despite the ever increasing competition.

He opined that the “unfortunate closure of the newspaper was a clear indication of the apparent failure of the Northern governors under President Good luck regime.“

Lamenting on the effect of the  long closure of the Company, massallah explained that “it is the Northern region of the country that suffered most owing to protracted strike that lasted over 15 months“.

Also speaking on the reopening, the former Chairman of Christian Association (CAN), Reverent Philip Dafes Maishibi disclosed that “the closure was a Big  slap on the Northern region.

“This is the Newspaper that put Nigeria first before Christianity or Islam but they wanted to kill it and kill the dream of Northern founding fathers“.

The Bureau Chief of Jos, Buhari Bukar Bello said they are now awaiting further directive from the Management in Kaduna head office of New Nigerian Newspapers.

He said the staffers are now equipped and ready to resume work in line with the new vision of the management to reposition the New Nigerian Newspapers.
