The Chairman averred that the money released was only meant for players, not Journalists, Adding that no Journalist communicated with him in Edo if not the State Chairman of SWAN, Isa Mohammed.

“My task in Edo State was simple, that is to take care of footballers while other directors are assigned the responsibility of taking care of Journalists” he added.

According to him” I thought those Journalists would report me to the Commissioner of Sports instead of confronting me with issues”.

As at press time the Chairman of Nasarawa United Football Club, Isaac Danladi said he did not disappear into oblivion in Edo State.

He,however, maintained that he has been contacting all those whose monies are with him to come and collect their shares.
