Nasarawa State Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, Honorable Francis Orogu has described the leadership of the APC under Engineer Abdullahi Sule as a party built on the fortress of deceit, lies, and wrongdoing as their watchword.

The Chairman gave the disclosure during a party meeting held at the State Secretariat along Jos road, Lafia.

According to him, “What we just rounded off is a normal routine executive meeting of the party meant to update and revalidate membership of the party especially when some people felt aggrieved and left the party or joined, We have different categories of defection.

We have another category of people especially those that want your policies, He stressed that the party executive also replaced the vacant position of the late Usman  Bagudu as Chairman elders forum with Elder  Nasidi emerging as the  Caretaker Committee Chairman of the forum.

“His endorsement and the reaction of party stalwarts and members experienced indicate unity amongst the party stalwarts.

Orogu said the State Governor must and should apologize to the people of Nasarawa State over his announcement to APC stakeholders that he paid to the tune of over N50bn debt is a mere fallacy meant to divert the attention of the populace as well as to get the public sympathy.

“We are aware that Engineer Sule , when he took over the mantle of leadership of the State announced that he did not inherit a penny while the former Governor, Umar Tanko Al-Makura said he did not leave a debt of penny in the State”.

The PDP Chairman buttressed that the building of the flyover and underpass by Engineer Abdullahi Sule is a misplacement of priority, instead advised the current Governor to accord utmost priority towards mitigating the menace of gully ravaging part of Lafia , The Nasarawa State capital.
