Nasarawa South Senatorial Seat Is A Call I Can’t  Ignore- Al-Makura Tells Taal Grassroot Network

Following the frequent calls by All Progressives Congress political groups in Nasarawa State calling on governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura to contest for Nasarawa South senatorial seat, the State governor said he can’t ignore the call by “Taal Grassroot Network”.

The governor stated when the movement presented a car key to the governor as part of their contribution for the actualization of Al-Makura’s senatorial ambition come 2019.

Other materials presented to governor Al-Makura by the Chairman of the movement also include 10,000 T-shirts, caps and posters.

The governor applauded the team for finding him worthy by calling him to contest for Nasarawa South senatorial seat.

“I would not hesitate to answer this call looking at timber and caliber of personalities in the political group”.

The Chairman of the movement, Sarki Tanko (Danmajen Azara) says the governor deserve the senate considering his track records in all ramifications.

“Your Excellency apart from the car key, posters, shirts and cap “Taal Grassroot Movement” is also presenting a document titled “winning Nasarawa South senatorial seat without tears”.

According to Sarki Tanko,” this document contains all secret to win Nasarawa South senatorial seat election, in is a sure bet” he added.

Sarki Tanko, it would be recalled was a stakeholder in Nasarawa PDP until he was suspended by the State Chairman, Hon. Francis Orogu for involvement in anti-party.
