The senate-elect, representing Nasarawa South senatorial zone,, Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo had donated the sum of N1,000,000 Million to the catholic church for the development of the church.
Onawo expressed concern over the recent politics of religion, saying he will remain committed to all and sundry devoid of the religious divide.
He insisted that the people of Doma Local Government must leave as brothers and sisters despite religious differences.
“Any time you are embarking on the development of this church, I mean Catholic church , please let me know so that I can contribute my quota to the church”
Distinguished Senator Mohammed Ogoshi Onaowo said he belongs to the broad-spectrum populace of the State which comprises people from the five Local Governments from Nasarawa South which includes Awe, Lafia, Doma, Obi, and Keana.
The senate-elect during the Thanksgiving of Customs Comptroller, Joseph Oboshi Attah at Doma Catholic church called on the retired officer to join politics.
Onawo stated this shortly after Thanksgiving, the senate-elect described Attah as a gem who has impacted positively on the lives of the younger generation through the employment of graduates into the Nigeria Customs Service.
The celebrant, retired Customs Comptroller Joseph Oboshi Attah in his speech said he has impacted positively on the lives of the youth in the area of job creation.
He thanked critical stakeholders across the States of the federation for gracing the auspicious occasion
A highlight of the occasion also includes a cultural interlude and the commissioning of the newly completed Tazu Luxury hotel, Lafia, hotel built by the retired Customs Comptroller at the weekend.
