Nasarawa Police Arrests Pastor, 17 Others For Car Snatching, Criminal Conspiracy And Armed Robbery

Pastor Stephen Odoh , an indigene of Ebonyi state has been arrested by the Nasarawa state police command, the man of God was apprehended alongside seventeen others for car snatching, criminal conspiracy and armed robbery.

The police said on 24/06/2016 a sienna space bus with registration number RSH648BB which was snatched at gun point from Mrs.Ogunyemi Obiageli who resides at No 19 Kari Kari Avenue new Karu on 07/02/2015 at about 9pm was recovered by the command in collaboration with its counterpart from Ebonyi state.

Other suspects in connection with the case are Odoh Celestine Chima, Isaac Fa’ase from Gboko, Benue state, other arrested in connection of criminal conspiracy and armed robbery affirmed that on 06/06/2016 at about 2200hrs.

Some group of armed robbers attacked one Philip Simeon and Hannah Ameh both behind Loremn lodge Keffi and collected a laptop, three handsets and a cash sum of five thousand.

In the process of investigation, Shehu Suleiman , Emeka Ali and Abbah Adamu were all arrested in connection with the case the items recover from them include Eco bank ATM card, a cash sum of N13, 000.00

The commissioner of police also hinted that a three man gang were nabbed for criminal conspiracy and armed robbery in Akwanga local government of the state, the suspects are John Abashi, David Abubakar and Akolo Danjuma ,saying the notorious armed robbery bandits were apprehended while carrying out their nefarious operations in Akwanga town.

Compol, Lawal Shehu listed some of the victims of the notorious gangs to include Veronica Albert, Edwin Omeke and Mrs. Esther Ibreana as the robbers carted away valuables which  includes Jincheng, generator, handsets and a sum of N200,000,other items are Jincheng motorcycle, Cutlass, LG television and home theater.

The commissioner also uncovered that six persons were arrested in connection to culpable homicide, criminal conspiracy and armed robbery, the suspects are

Lawal Shehu disclosed that the suspects were arrested in connection death of Hassan Abubakar who was attacked along Fadaman Bauna-Lafia East, Hassan Abubakar was shot to death after selling his cows at shinge market and the sum of N900, 000 was collected from him.

One Paul Yohanna was arrested in connection to robbery cases opposite Nasarawa State University, Keffi, and the police affirmed that Yohanna and his accomplices Gambo whose second name is not yet known conspired and attacked one Rebecca Solomon and Josephine Daniel as the police said gun was recovered from suspect.
