The Publicity Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party,Nasarawa State, Mohammed Bwala has described the February 16 2019 postponed Presidential and National Assembly elections as a connivance between the electoral umpire, the Independent National Electoral Commission and the ruling ,All Progressives Congress.
Bwala in an interview with selected Journalists at the abode of the State Chairman said the postponement did not come as a surprise but rather was a plan work by the Minister of Justice to favor the party in Zamfara State.
“I’m disappointed with the announcement of the reschedule election to March 23 for President and National Assembly and Governorship and State Assembly to March 9th”.
The Publicity Secretary ascribed that the reschedule elections was a peril to democracy.
“The minister of Justice has been hammering for the rescheduling of election with a view to make uniform with the election of Zamfara State”
“Who pays the piper dictate the tune” for this reason the presidency is the Alfa and the omega”he added.
Bwala called on the party’s supporters in the State to remain focused by coming out en masse to vote massively to the party flagbearer Atiku Abubakar.
“We in the PDP are whether of the plan of INEC to announce election outcome in favor of the incumbent President, Muhammad’s Buhari.
The State Secretary of the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress, Aliyu Bello would not be reach for comment as at press time as his mobile phone was switched off.
