Nasarawa Lawmaker’s Mother, Sister Kidnapped By Suspected Fulani Herdsmen

The Nasarawa State Police command has confirmed the abduction of mother to member Nasarawa state House of Assembly, Hon Kazzim Muhammed Kazzim by suspected Fulani gunmen.

The Police Public Relation Officer, Idrisu Kennedy confided this in a telephone interview.

Idrisu said two persons, mother to Nasarawa lawmaker, Hon Kazzim and his sibling were abducted at Moroa community of Akwanga West Development Area of Nasarawa state.

The PRO said the Divisional Police Officer briefed him on the incident, adding that sizeable armed policemen and men of the vigilante has since been deployed to Moroa community and environs.

According to him no ransom has been demanded for the release of the two persons which he said are all female.

The member, Kazzim Muhammed Kazzim could not be recalled for comment as at press times as all his mobile phones were switched-off.
