Nasarawa Judiciary Needs N3.5 billion To Implement Promotion-CJ

The Chief Judge of Nasarawa state, Justice Suleiman Umar  Dikko said the Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria, Nasarawa state chapter needed a whooping N3.5bn to implement the lingering promotions of its staff.

Justice Suleiman Umar Dikko decline comment on commitment of the state as he faulted the union for forfeiting promotion to increment of salaries.

While reacting on the allegation of unnecessary deduction debunked the position of the leadership of JUSUN, adding that is out to sanitize the institution.

The chairman, Judicial Service Commission, Justice Dikko appreciate the maturity of the chief executive, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura for handling the welfare of Judiciary with seriousness.

An insider who revealed to universalreporters247.com said money to the tune of N30 million was expected from the state government to enable courts embark on capital projects but the reverse is the case.

He further said the effort to get the N30 million would only be feasible by going on strike; however a member from the union side who pleaded anonymity affirmed that the Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria, Nasarawa state chapter would not join the strike because JUSUN is not going to be beneficiary of the N30 million.
