Nasarawa Governorship Ticket Is For Northern Zone Says Etsu Karu

As the 2019 general election gathered momentum,the Paramount rulers of Karu Local Government of Nasarawa State,Etsu Karu,Luka Panyam has said Nasarawa North Senatorial district deserves the automatic ticket of governorship for the sake of equity and Justice.

The Monarch hinted this when the campaign team of the State Deputy governor,Silas Agara paid the royal father a homage in continuation of his consultation to vie for governorship of the State.

Luka Panyam asserted the two senatorial district ,the west under governor Abdullahi Adamu ruled for two consecutive times from 2003-2011,Aliyu Akwe Doma from Southern zone ruled for 4 years and the incumbent governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura is also ruling for the second term.

Saying power shift from one senatorial zone to another would ensure peace amongst the heterogeneous tribes in the state.

“No section of Nasarawa State has monopoly of leadership”.

“We the People of Karu are sincerely appreciate your visit ,saying he believes in equity and Justice”.

“You are qualified in all ramifications to be our next governor going by your antecedents as a former Commissioner”.

He further buttressed that the success recorded under democratic governance in the State are part of the legacies of Silas Agara.

Luka Panyam called on electorate to be aware of governorship candidates without agenda.

The Deputy governor, Silas Agara who was at the palace of Karu amidst the presence of creme de la’  creme of the All Progressives Congress applauded the monarch for the warm welcome.

“We are here today in continuation of our consultation on our quest to rule the state come 2019”.

Agara says he will consolidate on the success and good policies of governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura if given the chance.

The Deputy Governor also commissioned APC office at Sabon Gida and promised to pay office rent of one year.

In a related development, the Emir of Keffi, Alh.Dr.Shehu Chindo Yamusa described the Deputy Governor as a humble and obedient politician who has a listening ear for the people.

Urging him to carry everybody along devoid of ethnic, religion and tribal differences

“You don’t have the resource to pay all the members of your entourage for their sacrifices instead are good to touch their lives”.

The Emir of Keffi ,Dr.Yamusa confided to the team on the current economic challenges ranging from insecurity, health and dwindling of the education sector as a critical constraints.

He called on the Deputy governor to consider the plight of the masses if elected as the next governor by fulfilling his campaign covenant with electorate.

Supporters of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Kokona,Keffi and Karu shower encomium on the Deputy governor, the team comprises of majority of erstwhile commissioners and Advisers under governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura’s administration.
