Nasarawa Civil Servants Now Reduced Are Now Frustrated People, Devoid Of Career Fulfillment And Embarrassing Percentage payments –Nasarawa PDP Guber Aspirant Tells Al-Makura

As the 2019 general election gathered momentum, a governorship aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party, Senator Philip Gyunka has promised civil servants of a new lease of life if elected as the governor of Nasarawa state come 2019 as he promised to break barriers and build a future for the people who have had walls erected between them unwittingly but in several cases deliberately as part of political chess-game.

Senator Gyunka said the civil servants been the engine room of government businesses has been reduced to a pitiable pack of frustrated people devoid of career fulfillment compounded with unabated and embarrassing percentage payments with no beneficial promotions.

The Senator representing Nasarawa North stated this during his official declaration to contest for the governorship ticket.

He also bemoaned the State government for lack of capacity enhancement resulting to low output by the Civil servants.

“Our state experienced a fall in Human Development Index as embarrassing.,he further expressed dismay over the decline and decay across all sectors in spite of the huge federal allocation accrued to the State.

“And for our tertiary institutions, the value of certificate awarded would be comparable to the value of piece of paper due to the dwindling of the educational system “.

Adding that, “Our ease of doing business has plummeted with our state trailing at the tail nationally”.

“What we have today in Nasarawa state is a “RENT GOVERNMENT ” obsessed with contract award for projects with  little or no social-economic benefit to our people and the sale of our Commonwealth”,

Senator Philip Gyunka said is poised to bring new vision and new direction to governance that will be truly democratic, representative and professional to deliver and redeem the people of Nasarawa state from our downward descent.

“I shall be a uniter and not a divider following my antecedent as the heartbeat of the people and my records as a son of nobody who loves everybody regardless of their disposition.

The State Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Aliyu Bello could not be reached as at press time to comment over the position of Senator Philip Gyunka, incumbent senator representing Nasarawa North.
