Arch. Stanley Buba, the embattled Interim chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Nasarawa state wing  has faulted the press for causing cacophony in the party, The chairman stated this during a press briefing at the state party headquarter in Lafia .
The chairman while reacting to a question on the substitution of candidates  raise eyebrow  on some contending and fundamental issues surrounding the substitutions of councillorship  aspirant expressed worried over the way and manner journalist create a rowdy atmosphere through their reportage.

“we are here to create an enabling environment for all aspirants but not creating rancor among party supporters “We are looking for solution but not problem, that is why I don’t want the press ,The way you people ask question is adding more salt to unhealed wounds.
‘’Do you think we are stupid, in have this type of crisis even during 2011 election which was a matter between Ewuga and Nagogo, It was a national issues
Like the case of Doma Local Government we are doing our best towards addressing the situation, nobody single handedly has the right to change names of candidates overnight, The Nasarawa State Independent Electoral Commission (NASIEC) has given 17/03/2014 as the dateline for the substitution of candidates.
“In some Local Governments councillorship aspirants has resolved and presented names of consensus contenders and we stand by it for the interest of the party, speaking on the exigencies surrounding party primaries the interim committee chairman of the APC pleaded with upset contender to eschew orderliness for the interest of the party”.
In Nasiec constitution there is a room for substitution of candidates  which will be from 12-13/03/2014,The party will only listen to concrete complain by aspirants ,and I’m optimistic that sky will be our starting point.
‘’I thank God that the Governor did not relent on his effort to ensure sanity and peace among party members instead appointments await those that contest and loose to their opponents at the party primaries.
The crisis surrounding the outcome of party primaries is about consuming the party  and this may affect the success of the APC in the forthcoming Local Government election slated for 22/03/2014,The People’s Democratic Party may have a soft landing this the present crack in the APC.
In Nasarawa Local Government.
The PDP may have a upper hand with the presence of the Honorable speaker   of the Nasarawa state House of Assembly, Ahmed Musa,The likes of former senator representing Nasarawa west,Abubakar Danso Sondangi are at the vantage position with the present crack in APC,No fewer than 200 APC supporters decamp to PDP.
The defection may not be unconnected to the outcome of APC chairmanship and councillorship result, Documents available to our reporter indicate that the likes of Abdullahi Ibrahim Jibrin (Jerry) won the APC primaries in all the 13 electoral wards exception of Loko and Udegi Magaji wards where people identify as political thugs belonging to a current commissioner,Hon. Danladi Madaki hijacked sensitive election material filled and force the ward returning officers to sign but results were announced in favor of Ahmed Tijjani.
In  Doma Local Government which is a PDP flash point is another controversial area been the country home of former Governor,Aliyu Akwe Doma, Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo, member House of representative, The APC secretary ,Mustapha Galadima announced the outcome of the primaries in favor of his stooge,Hon.Henry Omaku who may likely decamp to PDP.
Omaku is a political son to Yusuf Agabi who is strategizing for Governorship of the state come 2015,The chances of Omaku winning Doma Local Government is blink as PDP supporters turn out en masses to block the chances of the popular candidate of Hon.Mustapha Yahaya Idris.
In Akwanga Local Government the APC is a walk over with the defection of the Deputy Governor, Dameshi Luka to the opposition party, The APC would experience a big fight,The likes of Senator John Danboyi,Michael Abdul, former Deputy Governor the APC may not actual it dream of winning Akwanga the country home of the interim chairman of the party.
Wamba may be easier for the APC to capture come 22/03/2014 Local Government election.
In Keffi the atmosphere is tense   as vast of the supporters  has since decamp to PDP,Mohammed Dikko, a popular contender was outsmart by the party, This has created a vacuum that cannot be filled in Keffi politics, The likes of Hassan Lawal ,former minster .
In Awe Local Government the former member of the NSHA, Hon.Yahaya is battle ready to reclaim his stolen mandate from Aliyu Turaki,The favor candidate.
