Nasarawa APC Gets New State Chairman

Following the appointment of the State Chairman of the All-Progressives Congress, Nasarawa State Chapter of the party, Hon.John Mamman as a Commissioner of Education, his Secretary, Hon.Aliyu Bello has emerged as the new head of the party.

The decision was unanimously taken at a stakeholders meeting held at the seat of power on Wednesday.

The State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule thanked the stakeholders of the party for reaching an agreement to nominate the party Secretary from Nasarawa South to emerge as party headship.

Aliyu Bello, from Lafia, the State capital, would be recalled contested with the former occupant of the seat, John Mamman from the Western zone in the last party congress that returned the immediate past Chairman.

The Chairman in his speech, appreciated the State Governor and other stakeholders for the decision as he promised to bring in new ground to the party.

Party supporters continued to shower encomium and pleasantries as the party Secretariat turned into a beehive for friends and well-wishers ranging from party Chairmen across the thirteen Local Governments and 18 Development Areas.

Others who trooped in to congratulate the new Chairman also include other political appointees

Also, the Secretary of the Yarus Dagusa was the new scribe of the ruling party.
