Yunana Iliya,The state chairman of the People’s Democratic Party irked by the unabated killings in Nasarawa state has accused the led-All Progressives Congress under the purvey of governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura as a regime that lacks the spring board to curtail the intermittent killings and destruction of properties in the state.
Iliya said the state under the APC barely four years was an arsenal of death, saying the governor lacks the requisite knowledge to govern the state,He expressed dismay over the incessant mass exodus of people from their home of abode.
Iliya gave the hint while fielding question from journalist at the party’s secretariat.
“Despite the billions allocated as security vote to the state government insecurity continue to thrive, Men of the underworld hunt, killed and displaced people at will”, The governor is deceiving who asked the chairman.
Yunana Iliya buttressed that socio-economic activities of the state were grinded to a halt,He further expressed displeasure over the abandonment of farm produce by farmers due to the lingering crisis.
Reacting on the relief material distributed to crisis prone communities by the state governor, Yunana Iliya described the distribution as a mere gimmick for political gain.
“The relief material he gave to the displaced persons is the same volume of food items given by a councilor in Nasarawa Eggon”The chairman lambast Al-Makura.
