The Executive President NAPSS, FEED Comrade Bamle Nimnan Guntim has drummed support for the candidature of Amb.Dr. Yohanna M.D Margif (Waziri Mushere) in the forthcoming gubernatorial seat of Plateau State in 2023 under the platform of All Progressive Congress ,APC, to deliver a new policy that promote peaceful coexistence in the state .
Comrade Guntim made this known during the media declaration held at Retna Hotel in Bukuru ,Jos South Local Government Council of Plateau state and was represented by Solomon Ndam .
The NAPSS Plateau state chapter poured accolade on Yohanna Margif ,by saying , Margif has set a record in philanthropist ,education that will be difficult to break.
He noted that in the history of his contribution to the development of the state he focuses more on human capital development towards addressing economy ,infrastructure development, health care delivery ,education unemployment if elected ,Amb .Margif will immensely provide dividends of democracy to the people .
According to NAPSS President , the gesture shows that Amb.Yohanna M.D Margif is the man for the job as he has a lot of concern to the challenges being faced by the students in all tertiary institutions and by extension the generality of the masses because he work to achieve success .
The NAPSS president urged APC members in the state to trust Amb.Margif with their mandate as he is the one who will collect power from governor Simon Bako Lalong without much qualms.
The students Union body also poured glowing tributes on Yohanna Margif urging the people to trust him with their mandate.
NAPSS endorsed him to run the race for governorship of Plateau in the 2023 general elections under the platform of ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
He explained further ,the rationale on why the choice of Amb. Margif, Guntim acknowledged that Plateau citizens are anticipating for good governance come 2023 and only him (Amb.Yohanna Margif) that can address the economy, infrastructure development, health care, education, employment and other basic needs of the state.
He also gave reasons why NAPSS the body advocate for his candidature because he has impacted in the lives of students and individuals far and near.
” He is a successful business man who if given the mandate will input his body versatile bank of Knowledge and experience as a business tycoon to improve the economy of the state.
“He is a peace builder and initiator who has constructed churches and mosque as well as rendered assistance to some families who were affected by crisis in some states such as; Plateau, Kaduna, Nasarawa, Taraba, Niger and Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja.
“He has also sponsored countless students across the state, facilitated a lot of project in schools and recently he is spearheading the completion of the ongoing NAPSS in FCE Pankshin.
“Going by his track records, I hereby wish to make clarion call to all students populace, stakeholders and well-meaning Plateau State citizens to support the candidature of Chief Amb.Dr. Yohanna Margif to contest for governorship of Plateau State 2023”, NAPSS President mentioned.
In a swift reaction, Amb. Yohanna Margif said what NAPSS has done is not for themselves but for typical Plateau citizens.
