The National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools,NAPPS,Imo State Chapter,on Wednesday 12th June,2019,successfully concludes the association’s 5th Annual Capacity Building Workshop for Proprietors and Teachers in Imo State,with the theme:”the role of teachers in fixing the broken education system in Nigeria.
The event which took place at IBC Orient Event Center NewOwerri,attracted so many respected persons in the educational industries especially owners of private schools in the state.
In his address presented,the Imo NAPPS State Chairman,Pastor Chris Ikechukwu Ineh,who read expressively on behalf of the association in Imo State,described the workshop as an annual tradition and welcome development in line with the theme,so as to put heads together in the quest of finding solutions to the numerous challenges facing the education sector in Nigeria.
The NAPPS Chairman,Pastor Ineh,said ” the workshop is to equip both the proprietors and their teachers in attendance with the needed tools to transform the children under their care into super productive components of the nation in their various fields of endeavors”.
The State Chairman further described the workshop as an all-inclusive and exceptionally well packaged that is hope to realize that ultimate desire of NAPPS,which is ” Nurturing for National Development”.
Also speaking,the Imo State NAPPS Secretary General,Comr.Nelson Nwachukwu Ndukwe,expressed satisfaction with the successful conclusion of the 2019 NAPPS workshop held in Owerri,which he described as the best teacher’s conference ever held in history of NAPPS in Imo State,following the theme.
