The Acting Director General of the National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control Mr. Yetunde Oni has donated 100 plastic chairs and cash of about N50, 000 naira to NYSC coordinator in Jigawa.
The NAFDAC coordinator in the state Alhaji abdulsalam Lawan disclosed this in an interview with the newsmen in Dutse, Lawan said that the aim and objective of the donation is to assist the corpers.
He said there is an effective collaboration and relationship between the NAFDAC and NYSC in the state in the fight against fake drugs and other related issues.
The state coordinator said that the gesture is not only to Jigawa NYSC alone pointing out that similar thing was done to NYSC camps across the 36 state of the federation.
He told the NYSC members to use the little donation along with the plastic chairs for little maintenance in the camp.
He pledge that NAFDAC will continue to assist and collaborate with the NYSC in the state to move the state forward.
